Over 35 Years And Still Going Strong
One of Commonwealth Restorations' goals over the years has been to closely manage our
growth so we can continue to provide a quality product to the customers we serve. Our
firm has been operating in Arlington since 1971 and our initial contractors license
was #318. We have consistently shown remarkable, yet manageable growth rates.
At one time in the eighties our staff numbered in the teens, but with reduced control over the excellence we make every effort to maintain. We are now a small company which, in the last five years, has grown at a rate of 10% a year in gross receipts/revenues. The number of employees has grown 20%, and the client base has grown proportionally.
In the seventies, when we first began our construction business, we had only a few metropolitan clients a year with gross revenue of $25- $40K. Today we have 20-25
Arlington clients a year with gross revenue of $1.8 million. We have come a long way
since the beginning days of small projects for clients. We have not, however, forgotten
the small projects. We maintain a first call, first complete policy which allows clients
who request our services to keep jobs from being shuffled to the bottom of the pile
because they were deemed small jobs.
